1. I first looked at similar pieces of media to take inspiration from. This also allowed for links to be made back to the Channel 5 website, emphasising that this is indeed a Channel 5 product. My choices for similar products highlight that my show is not only a lifestyle TV programme, but a travel programme akin to that of Top Gear.
2. The next step involved introducing the presenters. This established the 'characters' and detailed what their role was within the production. The narrative is also briefly mentioned here, but that was subject to change during the development of the show.
3. Similarly, the behind the scenes crew were also listed, including their social media tags and their creative portfolios. This expanded on the show's representation.
4. The Extras page also received a new lick of paint, including a silent film-style blooper reel and an exclusive photo gallery. This page would later be updated with the scripts for the Episode One cold open (and hypothetically would be updated as the series continued).
5. And finally, the finished opening product. This includes a link to the 'full episode' on Channel 5, as well as the opening on YouTube. The episode went through 5 separate drafts and cuts before settling on the final version.
